Working and learning in small groups, your child will gain respect and a new sense of responsibility for the sports of the great outdoors. Set in southern Alabama far from the bustle of urban life, Camp Spring Hill is sure to relax the city tensions and open their minds to nature. Each child will learn the importance of firearm safety, proper archery techniques, and the thrill of Big Bass fishing. Once your child has been taught the skills and responsibilities, they will be able to show them off during the tournaments.

Come and meet the staff at Old Spring Hill Plantation, while enjoying a truly southern treat. On the evening of arrival you and your child will get the chance to become familiar with Camp Spring Hill and its staff at a family fish fry.

During the week, your child will learn about and enjoy the following:

Firearm Safety Campers will learn the correct and safe way to handle shotguns and rifles. Archery Campers will learn the correct way to shoot a bow and arrow  which puts the skills of patience and breathing to the test. Fishing Casting & Knot tying are just some of the things that campers will learn as they wait for the moment when that Big Mouth Bass rises for the lure. Turkey Calling Campers will learn how to yelp, cluck, purr and putt using their very own turkey call. Hunter Certification Program Each Camper will receive his/her Hunter Education Certificate upon completion of the Camp's Hunter Education Course.
