The "main house," built in 1841 for the plantation master, is just a stone-throw away from the old mule barn and the original cotton gin. Scattered about in the pecan orchard are several of the original slave quarters.  These historical buildings, along with the century old baptismal found in the woods, make for interesting exploration and dinner conversations.
